Glenulla History from 1863

Geological Survey of Ireland - 1863 In Glenulla, sheet 123, just south of the summit of Doomore, a small copper vain was worked. Veine Stone is quartz and the copper occured in minute fragments of red oxide, malachite, and pyrites. the inconsiderable quantity of ore, and the vain soon ending both by North and south caused the work to be abandoned.
